Insert the driver CD that came with the U142 into your CD-drive. (If a screen comes up, you can minimise it for the moment.) Then plug the U142 into a free USB port on your computer.
Windows will detect the U142 and launch the 'New Hardware Wizard'
Select 'Install the software automatically' and click 'Next''.
