Problems Making Manual Connections with Locked Vodafone SIM Cards
Description of Problem
Vodafone inform us that some customer difficulties in making a connection via a U111-530/630 adapter are caused because the SIM card supplied with the Mobile Connect card has been locked. If you try to make a manual connection to the Vodafone network, you may need to unlock the SIM first.
More Information & Fix
This problem can occur if the SIM card in your Vodafone Mobile Connect card has been 'locked' to the Vodafone network. In order to make a manual connection to the Vodafone network you will need to disable the locking. You can do this by putting the SIM card into a mobile phone handset. This does not need to be a Vodafone handset
