If your card was supplied with a software utility you may be able to use this to make a connection via your card. For more information, see our FAQ about Dashboard Software
Dial Up Connections
You can also manually set-up a connection using your datacard just like any 'normal' modem. This connection works like any other network connection, so once you are connected you can use your preferred email client and web browser.
To set up a connection, you need a few details from your operator, since you need to connect to their network. For more information about these details, see our connection parameters page.
Setting up a new connection is not difficult, because Windows has a 'New Connection' wizard to guide you through it and help you enter the parameters for your network. See our Dial Up Connection Setup guide for more information.
