USB Adapter for 16-bit PCMCIA Cards
The U111 is an adapter design for 16-bit PC Cards enabling use via a USB port. The adapter is
available in several standard configurations (see below) or can be customised to suit your own PCMCIA
design, opening up new markets for existing products.

OEM Applications
Modification of the U111 to support your PCMCIA connectivity requirement can be undertaken by you, or by Elan. The U111 can also be embedded into your custom built solution, using the USBPC16 IC.
Customers who require connection to a CardBus card (32-bit) should consider the U142 design or the USBPC32 bridge.
